What you'll be doing:

• Designing and developing high-performance backend systems that support secure messaging, compliance, and data management for leading financial institutions.
• Building scalable Java applications that process large volumes of real-time financial data with high availability and low latency.
• Working closely with product managers, architects, and fellow engineers to deliver robust, production-ready solutions.
• Contributing to the ongoing development of a modern microservices architecture, with a focus on scalability, security, and performance.
• Writing clean, well-tested code and taking part in code reviews, technical discussions, and continuous improvements across the engineering team.

What we're looking for:

• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or another relevant technical subject.
• Strong commercial experience developing applications in Java.
• Experience building distributed systems, REST APIs, and microservices, with exposure to technologies such as Spring Boot, Kafka, or similar frameworks.
• A good understanding of databases, cloud technologies, and software engineering best practices, including testing, CI/CD, and version control.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
