Jackson Hogg are excited to be working with a client of ours in the Financial Services market on their search for a Full Stack Developer to join their expanding team.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Working as part of a small team, supporting existing software solutions and developing new web applications using modular frameworks.
• Making recommendations on user experience, accessibility & content.
• Collaborating with front-end developers and designers to improve usability.
• Receiving feedback from, and building solutions for, users and customers.
• Writing functional requirement documents and guides.
• Assisting other developers with coding and troubleshooting.
• Staying up-to-date on emerging technologies.

Skills & Experience:

• Expert understanding of Web API, MySQL, SQL Server, .Net Core, Entity Framework, Angular & React.
• Highly competent in languages Java, C#, Javascript, HTML and CSS.
• Experience using Linode and GCP hosting environments, alongside JavaServer Faces and Spring Boot development environments.
• Expert knowledge of Object orientated programming, the software development life cycle and coding best practices.
• At least 5 years of commercial development experience.
• Strong portfolio of previous work, demonstrating solutions to business problems through effective design.
• Knowledge or background of Jenkins and Azure DevOps and Azure principles & systems is desirable.
• BSc Degree in software development, computer science or related field would be beneficial.
