Solutions Architect

My client is looking for an ETRM Solutions Architect to join the team on a contract basis initially for 6 months. Experience as a senior energy & commodities trading architect required.

Your impact

• Develop adaptive IT strategies based on a deep understanding of our clients’ business

• Build trusted relationships with clients based on credibility and strong listening

• Assess current the current state of technology organizations, their capabilities and produce value and outcome based strategic roadmaps

• Set up and lead IT strategy projects according to a vision, value and the logical place to launch

• Provide custom build design, estimates and implementations.

• Design and facilitate effective client workshops to accelerate current state understanding, identify opportunities, and build consensus across a broad set of business and IT stakeholders

Your Skills and experience

• Experience in energy & commodities trading specifically with Oil supply and trading

• Experience working as a technology leader within the industry, a technology advisor as a consultant and/or an engineering or technical architecture role

• Strong understanding of one or more specialist solutions in the energy & commodities trading space, like the Openlink suite, Aspect or one of the emerging packages

• Strong understanding of foundational technologies as well as specialist solutions in the energy & commodities trading space, across cloud, packaged solutions, platforms, integration/API, tooling, data technologies, network and communications with deep craft skills in one or more areas

• Ability to navigate a large organization and have the power of persuasion through content and confidence
