Description:

The University of Law (ULaw) is seeking a Student Information Officer to join its Manchester Campus team. In this on-campus role, you will serve as the first point of contact for students, providing essential guidance and support throughout their academic journey. You will play a key role in ensuring students have access to the right services and information, contributing to their success and overall campus experience.

The role involves close collaboration with various internal teams, including the Student Immigration Compliance & Advice team, to support both domestic and international students. It is a fast-paced, customer service-driven environment where your ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate effectively will be critical.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide information and support on a wide range of student-related enquiries, including transition and ongoing academic journey assistance.

  • Collaborate with the Student Immigration Compliance & Advice team to support international students.

  • Signpost students to appropriate services and resources to enhance their overall experience.

  • Efficiently resolve queries and requests in line with established service levels, referring cases to specialist teams as necessary.

  • Cover weekend duties on a rotational basis.


Qualifications and Skills Required

  • Experience in delivering high-quality customer service and support.

  • Strong time management skills to meet tight deadlines and handle conflicting priorities.

  • Proven ability to provide one-to-one advice and guidance.

  • Effective communication skills (oral and written) with a wide range of stakeholders.
