Founded by Laura Fulmine, the gallery curates and showcases fine art, furniture, and vintage collections, while also supporting emerging and established artists through exhibitions, a concept showroom, and its unique concept store, The House. The Studio Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting the prop hire department, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. This position is particularly well-suited for individuals with an interest in art, design, styling, set decoration, or interiors, offering hands-on exposure to both the creative and operational aspects of a busy gallery and hire business.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the careful packing, preparation, and documentation of props and artworks for hire.

• Help maintain and update inventory records and prop databases to ensure accuracy and organization.

• Support in organising storage areas and arranging showroom displays for client visits.

• Manage prop returns, including checking condition and returning items to proper storage.

• Liaise with couriers and coordinate delivery logistics.

• Photograph new items for cataloguing and website listings.

• Provide administrative support to the Hires team and Studio Manager.

• Assist during client visits, helping with prop selection and ensuring a professional experience.

Requirements

• Currently studying for or recently completed a degree in art, design, film, theatre, or a related creative discipline.

• Strong interest in props, set design, interiors, or styling.

• Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.

• Ability to handle delicate, valuable items with care and professionalism.

• Physically fit and comfortable with lifting and moving objects.

• Computer literate with proficiency in basic office software.

• Positive, flexible, and willing to learn within a collaborative environment.
