Description:
As a Team Leader - TradePoint or Decor Department, you will be integral to the success of B&Q Biggleswade, ensuring high levels of customer service and a motivated, effective team. You'll lead by example, develop and support your team members, and manage resources to ensure smooth operations. You'll also play a role in improving processes and customer experiences by thinking creatively and making decisions quickly.
Team Development: Motivate, support, and develop your team, helping them achieve both personal and team goals.
Customer Service: Provide excellent service by ensuring your team delivers exceptional customer experiences.
Leadership: Lead by example, with a focus on safety and customer service standards.
Innovation: Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance the customer and colleague experience.
Flexible Work: Manage and lead on a rota basis, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
Retail Experience: Proven background in retail with a strong ability to lead and develop teams.
Problem-Solving: Comfortable making decisions quickly and taking swift action.
Adaptability: Willing to expand skills by using new technology and learning new working methods.
Customer Focused: Positive, creative, and focused on delivering the best experience for customers and colleagues.
Competitive Salary: Up to £27,766.83 per annum (Pro-rata for part-time hours).
