The West Brom have a great opportunity for a Trainee Accountant. Reporting into the Senior Financial Reporting Accountant and working within our Finance team. The post holder will be studying towards a professional accountancy qualification and gain experience across the Finance function supporting monthly, quarterly and annual reporting processes.

What the Role will look like:

• Completing routine and ad hoc financial reporting tasks as part of our monthly, quarterly and annual reporting cycles.
• Understanding the role Financial Reporting plays within the wider Finance function, being ready and flexible to aid other Finance teams where required.
• Conducting Balance Sheet reconciliations in a timely manner at reporting period ends.
• Ensuring that procedures are fully documented and kept up to date.
• Implementing process improvements and efficiencies.
• Assisting with projects that affect the Financial Reporting team from time to time.

What you will bring to the role:

• Highly numerate and analytical with a passion for problem-solving.
• A strong communicator who can get their point across, as well as making other people feel heard
