The Sourdough, a creative studio based in South-East London, is seeking a Junior Brand & Web Designer to join its growing team on a part-time basis. The studio specializes in helping startup founders bring their innovative ideas to life through branding, design, and storytelling. Their services include creating logos, pitch decks, websites, and other visual branding materials.

In this role, the selected candidate will work directly on shaping new brands from the ground up. Responsibilities include conducting research on frontier science and technology, developing brand identities and strategies for early-stage startups, and designing and building engaging websites. The position provides exposure to exciting projects across a variety of industries, offering the chance to be at the intersection of creativity, technology, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct research and learn about frontier science and technology trends.

• Develop initial brand identity and strategy for startup clients.

• Design and build impactful websites tailored for early-stage businesses.

• Collaborate closely with the team and clients to create innovative branding solutions.

Candidate Requirements:

• Early career professional with 0–3 years of experience (formal agency background not required).

• A strong, original portfolio showcasing creative work.

• Proficiency with design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (or equivalent).

• Curiosity about science, technology, and the future.

• Eagerness to learn new tools and expand skill sets.

Desirable Skills (Nice to Have):

• 3D Design (Blender, Cinema 4D).

• Experience with no-code web tools (Webflow, Framer).

• Creative coding (ThreeJS or other JavaScript frameworks).

• Motion/animation skills (After Effects or similar).
