Description:
We'd like a web designer to join the Newcastle office. We're hoping for someone with:
- experience of web design, ideally in an office environment
- strong graphic design skills to create visually appealing websites
- the ability to code clean, semantic HTML and CSS
- the ability to create web pages that work on different devices and screen sizes
- an understanding of JavaScript for dynamic and interactive elements
- an understanding of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design principles
- awareness of the W3C standards and knowledge of cross browser testing
- an understanding of best practices for search engine optimisation
- excellent communication skills - both with clients and colleagues
- great problem solving skills and high levels of creativity
- good attention to detail
- the ability to work in a team and an awareness of customer care
- the ability to manage time effectively, especially when working on multiple projects
