Description:
Sabina Savage is seeking a Wholesale and Production Manager to join their small, dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for nurturing and managing existing accounts, while seeking new business opportunities both nationally and internationally in key target markets. You will also manage the production side of the business, ensuring that all manufacturing costs are controlled and deadlines are met. The position will require handling both seasonal wholesale campaigns and ongoing production orders, with a focus on maintaining the brand's luxury standards and improving efficiency.
This role is a blend of wholesale and production management, offering a varied and fast-paced work environment. You will be working closely with the team to create sales budgets, manage orders, ensure timely delivery, and maintain relationships with both clients and manufacturers. International travel to showrooms in New York and Paris may be required.
Key Responsibilities:
Wholesale Management
Pre-season preparation, including ensuring all data is uploaded correctly into systems (Xero/Excel) and creating necessary selling documents such as line sheets and order forms.
Creation of annual and seasonal sales budgets and reports.
Execution of seasonal wholesale campaigns, liaising with national and international buyers to build and place pre-orders.
Management of wholesale showrooms, including international travel (NY and Paris), organizing seasonal showroom spaces, and ensuring customs compliance.
Coordination of the wholesale appointment schedule, ensuring all appointments are managed efficiently.
Working with the US Sales Agent to nurture relationships and manage client needs.
End-to-end management of wholesale orders, including order entry, amendments, invoicing, packing, shipping, and payment tracking.
Physical fulfillment of wholesale orders, including packing, labeling, and courier coordination.
Managing national and international shipping requirements, including incoterms, pre-ticketing, product information, and imagery.
Encouraging mid-season re-orders and managing archive orders from in-house inventory.
Monitoring client sales performance and assisting where necessary to improve account performance.
Participation in pricing meetings and annual forecasting.
Regular reporting to senior management on business performance and new opportunities.
Proactively leading initiatives to increase sales based on sell-through reports.
Production Management
Collating all wholesale pre-orders for production and liaising with the E-Commerce Manager for in-house orders.
Managing relationships with UK-based manufacturers to negotiate manufacturing costs and ensure deadlines are met.
Identifying opportunities to reduce costs and improve production processes.
Working with the studio team to ensure production orders align with business deadlines.
Managing any production issues, including print or manufacture faults, and communicating delays to clients and internal teams.
General
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a small, close-knit team.
Adaptability to the fast-paced, evolving nature of a growing brand.
Based at the studio near Hackney Downs, this is a full-time, in-house position.
Experience Required:
5+ years of wholesale sales experience in the fashion industry, with a preference for in-house experience.
Luxury brand experience is essential.
Proven track record in managing small brands is a must.
Strong analytical, numerical, and financial management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
Ability to make independent decisions and exhibit a positive, hands-on attitude.
Immaculate presentation.
Advanced computer skills, especially in Microsoft Office/Excel (Xero experience is a bonus).
