Youth Engagement Worker

Description:

Transform Training Ltd is seeking a dedicated and passionate Youth Engagement Worker to join their impactful team based in Beeston. This role is ideal for someone who is committed to helping young people overcome barriers, engage meaningfully with programs, and discover opportunities that can positively transform their lives.

The successful candidate will work closely with youth participants to ensure their involvement, retention, and empowerment within the organisation’s various programs. This is a frontline role requiring energy, empathy, and a deep understanding of the challenges faced by young people.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain trusting, supportive relationships with young people

• Encourage and facilitate participation in programs and services

• Help remove personal and logistical barriers to participation

• Advocate for youth voice, ensuring their input shapes service delivery

• Promote Transform Training's work within the community and among youth networks

• Work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, when required

Requirements:

• Experience working directly with young people in any setting (education, youth work, mentoring, etc.)

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• A proactive, inclusive, and empathetic approach

• Flexibility to work variable hours, including some evenings and weekends

• Passion for social impact and a belief in the power of youth transformation
