Account Manager

Description:

Real Chemistry is a global healthcare agency committed to transforming healthcare through scientific expertise, human-centered creativity, and AI-driven insights. They are seeking a Senior Account Manager - Medical Education to manage day-to-day client relationships, oversee multiple medium-to-large projects, and mentor junior team members. This role involves strategic account management, financial oversight, and client-facing leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Delivery:

• Act as the primary day-to-day client contact, providing updates, taking briefs, and implementing realistic project plans.

• Lead large projects independently, ensuring delivery from start to finish.

• Offer counsel to clients, managing expectations and challenging them when necessary.

• Maintain an understanding of the programme as a whole, including objectives and strategy.

Business Development:

• Identify opportunities for organic growth within existing accounts.

• Assist in new business processes, including pitch presentations and coordination of teams and external suppliers.

Team Management:

• Develop leadership skills, mentoring and coaching junior team members.

• Line manage at least one account team member, providing day-to-day support and career guidance.

Financial Management:

• Develop and manage complex budgets, track resource use, and support invoicing and forecasting.

• Ensure timesheets and expense claims are accurately completed and reviewed.

Agency Environment:

• Participate in internal initiatives and keep up-to-date with industry best practices and award-winning work.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Excellent business communication, presentation, and writing skills.

• Skilled in data communication, document creation, and presentation development.

• Ability to develop solutions to client problems and deliver high-quality work on schedule and budget.

• Experience coaching and mentoring junior team members.

• High energy, adaptable, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
