Airfreight Operations Manager

Description:

Reporting to the Senior Operations Manager, the Airfreight Operations Manager will be responsible for managing a team of two full-time remote workers, including the Airfreight Ops/KA Supervisor and Import/Export Coordinator. With a minimum of 7 years' experience in the Freight Forwarding industry, the successful candidate will have a strong focus on management and service excellence for Airfreight shipments.

Essential Experience:

• Minimum 7 years' Freight Forwarding Industry experience with a strong focus on Airfreight management and service excellence
• Advanced knowledge of Airfreight processes, security procedures, and protocols
• Strong negotiation skills, adaptability to stressful environments, and the ability to engender trust and integrity
• Knowledge of ocean freight is advantageous
• Experience with Cargowise/Webcargo systems
