Associate Director

Description:

Gallagher, a global leader in insurance brokerage and risk management, is seeking a Construction Claims Associate Director to join their London team. This is an excellent opportunity to manage complex construction claims, provide professional advisory services to clients, and collaborate with insurers and stakeholders to expedite claim settlements.

As an Associate Director, you will take ownership of the entire claims process, from notification of loss to resolution, while building strong client relationships and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage construction risk claims efficiently, ensuring timely client service.

• Process claim notifications, advices, and collections according to internal procedures.

• Liaise with insurers and other parties to expedite claims settlements.

• Review, supervise, and provide technical advice to the claims team.

• Produce and present accurate claims statistics and MI/data reports.

• Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal standards.

• Participate in client meetings and deliver proactive claims management support.

Qualifications & Skills:

• ACII qualification preferred.

• Strong experience in construction claims management within legal or insurance sectors.

• Knowledge of CLASS system and ECF claims processing.

• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

• Experience in leading teams and coaching staff.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong client relationship management and organizational abilities.

• Eligibility to work in the UK.
