Description:
This is a pure new-business hunting role, not account management. You will own the full sales cycle for winning net-new Dynamics 365 BC and ERP-related engagements, working closely with pre-sales, delivery and marketing to build and convert a pipeline against a target of £1.5m+ in new revenue per year.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate and convert new business opportunities across Dynamics 365 Business Central.
- Build and manage a pipeline sufficient to consistently exceed a £1.5m+ annual new business target.
- Proactively prospect via outbound calling, email, LinkedIn and networking – this is a hunter role, not a farmer role.
- Qualify inbound leads generated by marketing and partner/Microsoft channels, and convert them into won business.
- Run and own the full sales cycle: discovery, solution positioning, proposal, commercial negotiation and close.
- Work closely with pre-sales and technical consultants to shape compelling, credible client proposals.
- Build relationships with Microsoft's own sales teams and other partner/referral channels to generate warm introductions.
- Maintain accurate CRM pipeline data and provide reliable forecasting to leadership.
- Represent the business at industry events, webinars and networking functions to build market presence.
What You'll Bring
- A strong background in selling Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and/or other ERP solutions (NetSuite, SAP, Sage, Infor, Epicor etc.).
- A proven track record of new business sales success within an ERP, Microsoft partner, or software/solutions environment.
- Demonstrable experience hitting or exceeding six-figure-plus new business targets.
- Confidence selling complex, consultative solutions to finance, operations and IT stakeholders, up to C-suite level.
- A genuine hunter mentality – energised by prospecting and winning new logos, not just managing existing accounts.
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to structure and negotiate mid-to-large value deals.
- Excellent communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.
- Existing network or credibility within the Microsoft Dynamics/ERP ecosystem is a strong advantage.
