A leading consultancy firm specialising in digital transformation across Finance, HR, Payroll, and Procurement is seeking an experienced Business Development Lead (Finance Transformation) to join their team in London. This is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic and strategic individual with a passion for driving finance innovation and building strong client relationships.

This permanent hybrid role (2–3 days on-site in London) involves developing and nurturing a pipeline of clients, shaping tailored Finance and Procurement transformation solutions, and managing stakeholder engagement from lead generation through to final proposals. Candidates must already have the right to work in the UK, as visa sponsorship is not available.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive business development efforts by identifying and engaging new clients through networking, events, and strategic marketing.

  • Build and manage a robust pipeline using CRM systems, ensuring consistent lead tracking and reporting.

  • Collaborate with SMEs and consultants to co-create customised digital transformation solutions for Finance and Procurement functions.

  • Coordinate and lead RFP/proposal processes to reflect client priorities and objectives.

  • Maintain strong stakeholder relationships, acting as a trusted point of contact throughout the sales cycle.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven experience in business development, consulting, or sales within the finance transformation domain.

  • Strong understanding of Finance operations, process optimisation, and digital transformation tools (ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, or Workday are beneficial).

  • Executive presence with exceptional communication skills, capable of engaging senior stakeholders.

  • Collaborative and entrepreneurial mindset with a self-starter attitude.

  • Demonstrated ability to work alongside marketing teams on campaigns, events, and thought leadership initiatives.

  • Established network of Finance leaders, particularly in the banking and financial services sector.
