The company is a well-established leader in its sector and is currently seeking a Business Development Manager to cover the South East, London, and Home Counties region.

This role offers an exciting opportunity for a technically minded and driven salesperson who excels in identifying business opportunities and nurturing relationships within the construction industry. Candidates must demonstrate a track record in managing a sales territory, growing key accounts, and offering consultative, solution-based services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Proactively investigate and pursue major construction projects, identifying opportunities for the company’s product range.

• Engage and maintain strong, strategic relationships with key stakeholders such as architects, main contractors, merchants, and procurement teams.

• Provide technical advice and tailored solutions to meet client-specific needs and construction requirements.

• Deliver consistent sales growth by securing new clients while also expanding existing relationships across the territory.

• Work collaboratively with internal teams to align sales strategies with operational capabilities and market demands.

Candidate Requirements:

• Solid background in sales within the construction industry, especially involving building product manufacturing.

• Experience engaging with key construction influencers including architects, main contractors, and specifiers.

• Strong interpersonal and consultative sales skills with a solution-driven approach to customer needs.

• Self-motivated and tenacious, with a results-oriented mindset.

• Must hold a full UK driving license as travel across the region is required.
