Business Development Team Member

 

Description:

We are seeking a proactive and driven Business Development Team Member to support our growth and help expand our client base, with a focus on the construction sector. You will play a key role in identifying new business opportunities, nurturing leads, and helping us reach more companies and individuals who can benefit from our training services.

 

Key Responsibilities

· Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the construction and related sectors

· Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients

· Support marketing initiatives, including social media outreach (LinkedIn, Facebook)

· Assist in developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth

· Track competitor activity and market trends to inform business strategy

· Collaborate with the training and operations teams to ensure client needs are met

· Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities as needed

· Support the operations manager with their workload.

 

About You

· Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management (preferably in training, education, or construction)

· Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

· Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently

· Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

· Comfortable using digital tools and social media for outreach

· Knowledge of the Scottish construction sector is an advantage
