Director of Business Development

We are recruiting a Business Development Director on behalf of our client, a leading chemistry drug discovery platform. This role requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in pharmaceutical business development and a track record of success in strategic alliance management.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute business development strategies to expand market presence and drive revenue growth.
• Identify and prioritize strategic partnership opportunities within the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors.
• Build and develop relationships with key stakeholders to negotiate and structure partnerships and licensing agreements.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure alignment and successful execution of business initiatives.
• Stay informed of industry trends and competitive landscape to inform strategic decision-making.

Qualifications:

• Advanced degree in Chemistry is preferred, Bio-chemistry can be considered
• Minimum 8 years of business development experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
• Strong understanding of drug discovery processes and preclinical development.
• Proven track record of successfully negotiating and closing strategic partnerships.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for driving innovation in healthcare.
