Zachary Daniels Recruitment are proud to be partnered with one of the UK's best known multichannel retailers, on the appointment of a Head of E-commerce. This is a strategic role, leading a small team to primarily accelerate digital growth whilst delighting the customer.
A role with purpose, this position is essential in continuing to drive online sales during a time of rapid growth.
Day to day, the role of Head of Ecommerce will be responsible for:
- Lead the development and implementation of the ecommerce trading strategy, including the trading calendar, and merchandising optimisation.
- Ensure alignment with the wider leadership team through quickly building and maintaining exceptional relationships cross functionally.
- Drive the translation of customer and market needs into a robust e-commerce trading plan across all categories
- Accountable for delivering the trading ecommerce strategy to deliver sales objectives
- Lead the team to maximise profitable growth by actively seeking to identify sales and profit driving initiatives.
- Drive optimisation of customer experience on site through best-in-class merchandising, E2E campaign delivery and alignment with the marketing plan
- Utilise and progress AI capabilities to drive both the customer experience and resource efficiencies.
To be considered for the position of Head of Ecommerce Trading, you will offer the following:
- Significant e-commerce responsibility at a senior level, within retail
- A track record of driving significant online sales performance
- Commercial and Financial acumen to set the strategy against commercial levers to unlock Customer and trading outcomes.
