Reed is seeking a dynamic and highly experienced Head of International and UK Operations to lead and coordinate strategic, operational, and system-based transformations across its international financial services group. Based in Bristol with a hybrid work model, this is a senior-level opportunity reporting directly to the Group CEO and Group Board, with a chance to shape the operational future of a multi-jurisdictional organization.

The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of financial services operations, systems integration, and strategic planning across global environments. This role requires close collaboration with internal stakeholders such as the Group Board, Finance Director, and Country Leads, ensuring the successful implementation of cross-border initiatives and consistent performance delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver cross-jurisdictional strategic and operational initiatives approved by the Group Board

• Develop and maintain consistent operating models across international legal entities

• Provide strategic and operational reporting across functions and geographies

• Implement and integrate core operational systems such as CRM and compliance platforms

• Drive automation and embed change across all levels of operations

• Lead strategic project pipelines and ensure on-time delivery of key milestones

• Collaborate with Finance Director to support budgeting, cost centre management, and intercompany financial services

• Oversee planning and logistics for the relocation of the UK operational base to Bristol

Candidate Requirements:

• Minimum 15 years of experience in financial services with operational, financial, compliance, or programme leadership

• Proven expertise in project delivery using tools like Trello or Agile methodologies

• Strong experience with systems implementation and operations integration

• Comfortable working in cross-border, multi-entity environments

• Effective communicator capable of presenting to Boards and senior leadership

• Desirable: Exposure to regulated financial environments such as MiFID, FCA, IDD
