Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust is seeking experienced and compassionate Health Care Assistants (HCA) to join our Acute Inpatient Mental Health wards. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive, innovative, and dynamic environment, assisting individuals during acute phases of mental illness.

Key Responsibilities:

🩺 Work as part of the nursing team to support physical and mental health recovery
🤝 Assist patients with daily activities and provide emotional support
📋 Maintain accurate patient records and contribute to care planning
💬 Demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills
🏥 Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for patients

Requirements:

✔ Experience in a healthcare setting preferred
✔ Strong verbal and written communication skills
✔ Ability to problem-solve, negotiate, and support patients effectively
✔ Commitment to NHS values of Trust, Respect, Integrity, and Compassion
✔ Must have the right to work in the UK (sponsorship not available)

Shift Pattern & Working Hours:

🕒 12-hour shifts (day & night) covering a 7-day working week
📆 Full-time and part-time positions available (minimum 23 hours per week)
