Description:
This is a full-time, on-site position based in the West Midlands for an Indoor Sales Executive. In this role, you will promote and sell the award-winning APC Overnight parcel delivery service in the B, DY and WR postcodes.
Research, gather and make telephone contact with new business sales leads within the relevant areas on a daily basis.
Make calls to all leads gathered personally, via Drivers or External Sales Representatives with the objective of booking meetings for the Commercial Director to attend or discuss any accounts to be brought on directly depending on volume of dispatch.
Gather relevant data, freight profiles and other relevant information and ensure this is provided to the Commercials Director before the scheduled meeting.
Working towards internal targets which are provided by the board of Directors.
Act as the first point of contact with potential new customers. Encourage ongoing communications with those potential new customers throughout their onboarding process.
Communicate with other departments within the business, regarding the details of potential new customers. Act as the direct point of contact for all new business within their first few weeks of trade.
Complete all necessary and relevant administration, including relevant weekly reports, using all appropriate internal systems.
