Description:
Trust Tech Recruitment are working with a growing technology-focused company who are looking for an internal IT Manager to join their team. As an IT Manager you will be working on overseeing the internal IT infrastructure, managing Microsoft 365 environments and ensuring company devices and systems remain secure, reliable and fully operational. This is a hands-on role where you will take ownership of the organisation’s internal IT operations, supporting employees while maintaining a secure and efficient technology environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Oversee the administration and management of the Microsoft 365 environment, including user lifecycle management and access control
- Manage and maintain both Mac and Windows device estates across the business
- Implement and maintain security policies and best practices within Microsoft 365 and endpoint environments
- Provision, configure and manage end-user devices
- Ensure all endpoints are secure and up to date through automated patch management for macOS and Windows
- Manage and optimise MDM / endpoint management tools such as Intune
- Provide internal IT support for hardware, software and access-related issues
- Monitor and maintain the internal IT environment in line with recognised security standards such as SOC2 and ISO27001
- Take ownership of internal IT systems and ensure smooth day-to-day operation across the business
Key skills required:
- Strong experience with Microsoft 365 administration
- Entra ID / Azure Active Directory management
- Managing both MacOS and Windows device estates
- Experience with endpoint management and MDM tools (e.g. Intune)
- Automated patch management and endpoint security knowledge
- Internal IT support and troubleshooting experience
- Understanding of IT security frameworks such as SOC2 and ISO27001
- Experience working in a modern technology environments
