Description:
Modis International Ltd is seeking an experienced IT Solutions Design / Delivery Lead to join a nationally recognized financial services company, known for being one of the UK’s "great places to work" with multiple awards. The role is based in the West Midlands, requiring on-site presence one day per week on average, while offering a flexible hybrid work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a high-performing IT solutions design team.
- Define and oversee the design runway for change programs, ensuring alignment with business objectives and architectural vision.
- Collaborate closely with IT Architecture and senior business stakeholders to drive technology solutions.
- Oversee design activity for programs and projects, ensuring quality, security, and robustness.
- Organize team workloads and deadlines, ensuring efficiency in solution delivery.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Proven leadership experience managing IT delivery teams within large, complex environments.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and collaborate at a senior level.
- Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle and IT solution design principles.
- Strong decision-making abilities with a strategic mindset.
- Technically astute with experience in systems design.
Desirable Skills:
- Background in financial services or regulated industries (preferred but not essential).
