Description:

Montpellier Asset Management, located in the heart of Cheltenham, is seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join their growing team. The company provides a broad range of services including mortgage advice, investment & pension advice, estate & tax planning, equity release, and protection advice.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Paraplanner and possess a thorough understanding of the financial planning process. You will be required to work independently within defined business processes, demonstrating attention to detail and accuracy. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively are essential for success in this role.

The position offers a competitive salary with opportunities for professional growth, including full exam support to advance your qualifications. The Paraplanner will be based at the company’s office in Cheltenham, working 5 days a week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the financial planning process, providing detailed support to financial advisors

• Work within defined business processes to ensure efficient workflow

• Achieve agreed outcomes independently while maintaining high attention to detail

• Prioritize and manage workload effectively to meet deadlines

• Provide strong written and verbal communication with clients and team members

• Collaborate effectively in a team environment, while also being able to work independently

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a paraplanning role

• Strong understanding of financial planning processes

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks

• Good interpersonal, communication, and writing skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong organizational and IT skills
