Pharmacist Intern

Description:

Under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist, the Pharmacist Intern will prepare, dispense, and distribute medications while providing clinical monitoring and drug information to ensure optimal patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, dispense, and distribute medications accurately.

• Provide clinical monitoring and drug information to support patient care.

• Work under supervision to ensure all pharmacy practices comply with standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Enrolled in or recently graduated from an accredited pharmacy school.

• Knowledge and experience with unit dose, IV admixture, and therapeutics.

• Current California Pharmacy Intern license.

• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
