Description:
Allianz Commercial is seeking a highly skilled Multinational Pricing Actuary to join its Global Pricing team in London. This role is critical to supporting the company's multinational proposition by delivering market-leading portfolio insights, pricing analytics, and strategic pricing enablement. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams across London, Munich, Bucharest, and Chicago to guide pricing strategies that drive sustainable and profitable growth.
The position involves leading multinational pricing initiatives across various lines of business and regions, overseeing the calibration and enhancement of pricing tools, and ensuring accurate and competitive pricing outcomes. You will work closely with the Head of Pricing Enablement and play a pivotal role in shaping the financial performance and long-term profitability of the multinational portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead collaboration between Global Pricing and cross-functional multinational project teams to support strategic, sustainable, and profitable growth.
Establish and maintain pricing profitability performance analyses, including the production of Pricing Normalized Loss Ratios for multinational portfolios.
Drive data-driven actions and gain organizational support for implementing pricing changes that improve portfolio performance across multiple lines of business.
Monitor and evaluate the financial impact of portfolio actions in collaboration with global pricing and specialist underwriting teams.
Lead the development, maintenance, and enhancement of multinational pricing tools, data systems, and capabilities, including Radar and Radar Workbench tools.
Coordinate and support pricing actuaries from various business lines in producing case pricing tailored to multinational client needs.
Qualifications and Skills:
Degree in Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or related field.
Qualified or nearly qualified P&C Actuary.
Experience in commercial lines pricing, preferably across large corporate and specialty lines.
Expertise in technical price calibration, pricing portfolio projections, and implementation processes.
Strong hands-on knowledge of Excel, Python, SQL (or similar), VBA, or other programming languages.
Proven ability to lead pricing activities across global teams and collaborate with senior management to prioritize and deliver initiatives.
Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
Familiarity with data analysis, automation, and AI tools with an awareness of ethical AI usage.
Strong communication and partnership mindset, capable of building effective relationships across global teams.
Results-oriented with a track record of delivering on-time projects and process improvements.
