Pricing Manager

Description:

Allianz UK is seeking a Pricing Manager – R&D to join the Personal Lines Home Pricing team. This hybrid role is focused on driving innovation in pricing strategies through research and development, leveraging data-driven insights to refine products and models.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee pricing analysis across multiple product lines, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory standards.

• Manage and coordinate technical projects to enhance underwriting performance, optimize pricing models, and ensure robust data governance.

• Define strategic priorities for pricing initiatives, monitor progress, and report outcomes to senior stakeholders.

• Represent the pricing function in cross-functional meetings, presenting insights and driving decisions to improve profitability and market competitiveness.

• Mentor and develop pricing analysts, fostering continuous learning and technical excellence.

• Collaborate with actuarial, underwriting, and data science teams to refine pricing strategies and implement innovative modelling techniques.

• Champion advanced analytics and automation to improve pricing accuracy, responsiveness, and operational efficiency.

Candidate Requirements:

• Strong experience in commercial insurance pricing, with a focus on Radar.

• Ability to work with large and complex data sources using Python, SQL, SAS, or equivalent tools.

• Experience leading deployment and enhancement of pricing models, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business goals.

• Strong business acumen and ability to translate technical insights into actionable business decisions.

• Familiarity with statistical modelling and machine learning techniques to enhance predictive capabilities.
