Project Manager

Description:

Arthur Recruitment is hiring a Project Manager to join a small but high-performing Change Function embedded within a leading global insurance and reinsurance provider operating in the Lloyd’s/London Market. This team is undergoing a transformation and is delivering strategic, high-impact initiatives across various business and IT domains.

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement with three days onsite in the London office and provides direct exposure to C-suite stakeholders, requiring strong communication, leadership, and strategic execution skills.

You’ll be expected to lead the delivery of impactful projects across multiple London Market insurance workstreams, including Reinsurance, Underwriting, Claims, Bordereaux Management, Finance Transformation, and Policy Administration Systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and deliver business-critical transformation projects across both IT and business functions

• Work alongside other Project Managers and Business Analysts to develop innovative solutions to complex challenges

• Engage and manage a variety of stakeholders, including business, third-party vendors, and technology teams

• Represent your projects in a highly collaborative, non-hierarchical structure

• Contribute to a growing Change Function delivering initiatives aligned with the business’ long-term strategic vision

Skills and Competencies:

• Solid track record managing complex change programs in the Lloyd’s or London Insurance Market

• Comfortable working across a variety of insurance workstreams and systems

• Ability to navigate complex organizational dynamics and lead diverse teams

• Strong stakeholder communication and interpersonal abilities

• Familiarity with modern delivery tools (Kanban, DevOps, Agile boards)

• Experience in creating business cases, implementing governance structures, and managing risk

Contract Details:

• Duration: 18 months Fixed-Term Contract (potential to convert to permanent)

• Work Model: Hybrid – 3 days per week onsite in London
