Description:
Blacks Vets, a multi-award-winning veterinary practice, is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) or 3rd Year Student Nurse to provide maternity cover across our hospital and branches. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to work in a well-equipped veterinary hospital while also engaging with clients in smaller branch settings.
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated nurse who enjoys working in a dynamic environment and wants to be part of a supportive, fun, and passionate team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work across all five branches of Blacks Vets, handling a varied caseload in both first-opinion and referral-level services.
- Assist in complex procedures, working alongside certificate holders in Cardiology, Medicine, Surgery, Dermatology, Orthopaedics, and Soft Tissue Surgery.
- Run nurse clinics and build relationships with clients.
- Work with state-of-the-art facilities, including:
- CT Scanner
- Dedicated Dental X-ray Unit
- Referral-Level Ultrasound Scanner & Dedicated Scanning Room
- NHS-Level Laboratory
- Seven Top-of-the-Range Endoscopes
- Multiple ICU Incubators
- Kennels & Cattery with Underfloor Heating
- Feline-Friendly Hospital
- Three Silver ISFM Accredited Branches
- Participate in a 1:4 weekend rota (with Time Off in Lieu).
