Registered Veterinary Nurse

Description:

Medivet is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join its newly opened Bushey Heath clinic. This is a unique opportunity to become part of a newly formed, friendly, and community-focused team in a fully refurbished and modern facility. The clinic works closely with its sister site in Pinner and provides exposure to a diverse caseload, ideal for skill development and career growth.

You will work alongside experienced partners, including Reena, with support from Medivet's wider network. The role offers variety and responsibility, including nurse consultations, support in surgeries, patient care, medication management, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional and compassionate care to patients and clients

• Assist with surgeries and complete pre- and post-operative procedures

• Conduct nurse-led appointments and schedule 3 activities

• Monitor patients and provide continuous care

• Manage patient admissions and discharges

• Handle medication dispensing and verification

• Facilitate patient transfers when needed

• Maintain professional excellence and compliance with clinical standards

• Participate in team briefings to ensure effective daily operations

Your Skills and Experience:

• Registered with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS)

• Proven track record of high-quality patient care and customer service

• Team-oriented with strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Skilled in clinical procedures and supporting consultations

• Able to use influence and coaching to improve team performance
