Quest Search and Selection is collaborating with a major e-commerce retail platform operating across the UK and Europe, seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Buying Manager – Computing & Gaming. As the Senior Buying Manager, you’ll lead and shape the Computing & Gaming category, focusing on bringing the best tech, accessories, and gaming gear to a growing customer base. Your work will directly impact category growth, supplier relations, and the strategic product roadmap of a major player in the digital retail space.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build a competitive, in-demand Computing & Gaming product portfolio, including exclusive and branded launches.

• Develop strong, strategic supplier relationships to secure favorable terms and early access to cutting-edge technology.

• Design and execute a robust category strategy, managing SKUs profitably and forecasting accurately.

• Oversee the entire buying lifecycle: product selection, pricing, promotions, lifecycle management.

• Drive category expansion by onboarding new brands and partners, and launching high-impact campaigns.

• Analyze key category and sales metrics, identifying gaps and optimizing supplier performance.

• Lead commercial negotiations to enhance profitability and margin outcomes.

• Collaborate with supply chain teams to maintain stock availability and deliver operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

• 8–10+ years in buying/category management in computing, gaming, or consumer electronics, preferably within e-commerce or retail.

• Demonstrated success in managing tech/gaming product portfolios and meeting commercial goals.

• A strong passion for technology and gaming trends with the vision to lead the category.

• Ability to act quickly, make data-driven decisions, and perform in a high-growth, dynamic environment.

• In-depth market knowledge and insight into consumer behavior.

• A solid network of industry suppliers, capable of unlocking new brand opportunities.
