Senior Housekeeper

Description:

An experienced Senior Housekeeper is required for a private household in Belgravia, combining hands-on housekeeping, luxury wardrobe management and general household support.

The role involves maintaining high standards across the family's London and EU residences, with extensive international travel, including packing, unpacking and specialist garment care.

Working 5 days per week, the position also includes overseeing temporary housekeeping staff, occasional errands, simple meal preparation and caring for two small dogs.
 
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
• Previous experience as a Housekeeper or Senior Housekeeper within a private household
• Strong wardrobe management experience, particularly with couture, luxury clothing and delicate fabrics
• Excellent knowledge of laundry, ironing and specialist garment care
• High standards of housekeeping and experience caring for fine furnishings and household items
• Highly organised, proactive and meticulous, with excellent attention to detail
• Comfortable overseeing cleaners and working alongside other household staff
• Flexible, hands-on and happy to assist with a variety of household responsibilities
• Discreet, trustworthy and able to maintain complete confidentiality
• Fluent spoken English is essential; French would be an advantage
• Valid full driving licence and confidence undertaking occasional driving and errands
• Pet friendly and comfortable caring for two small dogs
• Willing and able to travel extensively throughout Europe and internationally
• Full right to work in the UK and eligibility to travel extensively in Europe
• Excellent references and a stable employment history
