PureNet, a rapidly growing B2B eCommerce software provider and trusted Magento Partner, is seeking an experienced Senior Magento Developer to join its dynamic and collaborative development team. With clients ranging from mid-market to enterprise-level organisations, PureNet specialises in delivering seamless, scalable, and high-performing digital commerce solutions.

In this senior-level role, you will be responsible for leading software architecture, upholding best practice coding standards, supporting technical escalations, and working on innovative projects across Magento Open Source, Adobe Commerce, and Adobe Commerce Cloud. Reporting to the Technical Manager, you will have the opportunity to contribute to diverse projects, mentor team members, and grow your expertise while working in a supportive environment that encourages certification and professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a technical escalation point and review code quality at regular intervals to maintain best practices.

• Lead system design and hands-on software architecture for assigned projects.

• Research and resolve technical uncertainties through prototypes and proof-of-concept builds.

• Optimise engineering practices with commercial awareness, ensuring alignment with client and business goals.

• Review specifications, provide accurate development estimates, and flag risks or opportunities for optimisation.

• Create and manage build scripts for deployment to test, staging, and production environments.

• Configure Linux environments (LEMP stack, RabbitMQ, etc.) for application hosting.

• Support backlog ownership by helping assign tasks, progress technically complex items, and advise on solutions.

• Assist with technical pre-sales activities, strategy formulation, and prototype demonstrations for client requirements.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Magento Open Source, Adobe Commerce, and Adobe Commerce Cloud.

• Agency experience is essential, with proven ability to manage multiple projects under challenging deadlines.

• Knowledge of Hyva theme development is a plus.

• Proficiency in Linux, Nginx, Git-based source control, MySQL/MariaDB, JavaScript, HTML, CSS.

• Familiarity with Redis, OpenSearch, and other server-side technologies is advantageous.

• Experience with Atlassian suite of products is desirable.
