Senior Pricing Analyst

Description:

The Curve Group is recruiting a Senior Pricing Analyst for a financial services company specializing in asset finance. This hybrid position requires one day per week in Newport, Wales, and offers an exciting opportunity for a skilled pricing professional to take ownership of the company's pricing analysis and reporting functions.

In this role, you will play a critical part in developing and implementing pricing strategies, analyzing margin drivers, preparing board-level reporting, and providing deep insights to support pricing decisions. You’ll collaborate with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams to maximize margin opportunities and mitigate pricing risk.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and ownership of robust pricing and profitability analysis.

• Create and manage reporting dashboards and deliver board-level reports.

• Analyze pricing and margin trends, sub-commissions, fees, and volume bonuses.

• Own and administer pricing models across business streams, including adjustments for new opportunities or external reporting needs.

• Conduct annual rate card reviews and implement formal pricing routines.

• Evaluate the impact of funding structure changes on pricing models.

• Lead pricing elements of finance committee presentations and ongoing performance monitoring.

• Drive forward-flow economic analysis and grid-based pricing assessments.

• Partner with business leaders to maximize returns and ensure informed pricing decisions.

• Guide bespoke deal pricing efforts and monitor pipeline developments.

• Oversee the annual review of products and fee structures.

Key Skills and Experience Required:

• Extensive experience as a Pricing Analyst, ideally in financial services (but open to other sectors).

• Strong analytical expertise with deep understanding of pricing and financial modeling.

• Proficiency in SQL and Tableau for data analysis and visualization.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present insights clearly to senior managers and stakeholders.

• High attention to detail and the ability to manage complex data sets and pricing frameworks.
