Senior Radiographer

Description:

medneo UK is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Mobile MRI Radiographer to join its expanding nationwide diagnostic imaging team. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a forward-thinking, clinically led company that combines innovation with compassion, redefining what diagnostic imaging can be. The role involves delivering high-quality MRI scans across the UK using state-of-the-art Siemens Aera 1.5T mobile units.

This is not a typical radiography role – it offers variety, travel, and the chance to make a real difference in patient care. The position is designed for radiographers who value quality over quantity, with a focus on detailed, dignified care rather than overloaded caseloads.

As a Senior Radiographer, you will act as a clinical role model, supporting colleagues, collaborating with healthcare professionals nationwide, and ensuring the highest standards of clinical safety and patient experience. The role comes with flexibility, support, and a values-led culture where every team member is heard, respected, and supported.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver safe, effective, and high-quality MRI scans using Siemens Aera 1.5T mobile units.

  • Act as a clinical leader and role model, supporting and coaching colleagues.

  • Provide compassionate patient care, ensuring comfort and reassurance throughout the process.

  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals across different sites and regions.

  • Uphold strict clinical and safety standards.

  • Adapt to varied work environments across multiple nationwide locations (logistics managed by medneo).

Required Experience & Skills:

  • HCPC registration as a Radiographer.

  • Strong MRI scanning experience.

  • Ability to work independently in a mobile/mobile-clinic environment.

  • Excellent patient care and communication skills.

  • Flexibility, adaptability, and enthusiasm for a varied role.

  • A collaborative mindset with passion for raising standards in diagnostic imaging.

What’s on Offer:

  • Competitive salary: up to £43,500 (depending on experience).

  • £5,000 annual car allowance.

  • 25 days holiday plus additional days for long service.

  • Private Medical Insurance (Bupa) covering pre-existing conditions.

  • Family health options and Life Assurance (x5 salary).

  • Paid travel and accommodation when required.

  • Continuous career development: funded CPD, structured growth, and internal promotions.

  • Wellbeing support including 24/7 GP access, mental health first aiders, and wellness tools.

  • Generous benefits including Blue Light Card, gym discounts, cycle-to-work scheme, cashback plans, Tastecard, Denplan, and tech vouchers.

  • Friday early finishes, inclusive workplace culture, and recognition as an ⭐outstanding⭐ team by the CQC.
