Senior Technical Pricing Analyst

Description:

Allianz UK is seeking a Senior Technical Pricing Analyst to join the Motor Technical Pricing Team in London (Hybrid). This role involves developing and implementing advanced pricing models to optimize product offerings and enhance profitability.

The Senior Technical Pricing Analyst will participate in the Allianz Global P&C Academy, gaining insights in underwriting, risk engineering, pricing, and claims management while sharing best practices across the Allianz Group. Professional qualifications such as IFoA and CII are supported where relevant.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance pricing models, including data preparation, model creation, and application of advanced techniques (e.g., credibility).

• Contribute to pricing structures and strategies to achieve growth and profitability objectives.

• Conduct back-testing and analysis of model impacts, proposing necessary adjustments.

• Plan and manage own projects, ensuring technical deliverables are robust with clear communication to stakeholders.

• Support innovation in pricing through additional data sources and analytical techniques.

• Share and promote knowledge, skills, and best practices within the team.
