Whether you’re a recent graduate in Computer Science or an experienced developer that has worked in an agency environment before, we welcome your passion for ecommerce solutions. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and customise bespoke Shopify themes based on client requirements and design mockups.
- Integrate third-party systems and services, such as subscription platforms, payment gateways, shipping providers, and marketing tools, with Shopify websites.
- Collaborate closely with designers and account managers to deliver high-quality ecommerce solutions tailored to the specific needs of our clients across food & drink, health & wellness, and lifestyle sectors.
- Work with Figma designs to translate wireframes and mockups into responsive Shopify themes.
- Perform quality assurance testing to identify and resolve bugs, compatibility issues, and performance bottlenecks.
- Provide technical support and assistance to clients and internal teams as needed.
Preferred Qualities and Experience:
- Proficiency in Shopify theme development, Liquid programming language,
- Experience with HTML, CSS, Javascript and Liquid are essential
- A strong understanding of ecommerce best practices and industry trends
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and work across multiple projects
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
- Experience with other ecommerce platforms, such as Magento, WooCommerce, or BigCommerce
- Knowledge of front-end frameworks, such as React or Vue.js
- Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git
- Experience working with subscription platforms and integrating them with Shopify websites
- Enthusiasm for ecommerce solutions and a willingness to learn and grow in a collaborative environment
