Supply Chain Planner

Description:

Whiteoak Associates is currently hiring a Supply Chain Planner for a fast-paced, creative, and global FMCG brand based in Stockport. The role is a hybrid opportunity with 2 days working from home per week, offering a dynamic environment focused on innovation, inclusion, and global collaboration.

The ideal candidate will have substantial experience managing supply chains within the FMCG industry and demonstrate a successful history of working with manufacturers in China and the Far East. As a key player in the operations team, you'll be responsible for ensuring smooth and timely delivery of products into the UK and EU warehouses, while enhancing the supply chain process and ERP systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the on-time delivery of products to UK/EU warehouses

• Build and maintain strong relationships with Chinese and Far East manufacturers

• Own and manage the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, focusing on inventory health and lifecycle

• Maintain and optimize the ERP system, including product setups, lead times, and MOQs

• Work closely with procurement, operations, and suppliers to ensure effective communication and smooth execution of orders

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• At least 4 years of experience in the FMCG supply chain sector

• Minimum 2 years of direct planning experience

• Proven experience working closely with Chinese manufacturers

• Strong command of ERP systems and Microsoft Excel

• Excellent communication, prioritization, and independent working skills

• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary up to £40,000 per year (based on experience)
