Description:

A specialist day centre dedicated to supporting young people with moderate and severe Special Educational Needs (SEN) and complex needs is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join their vibrant team. This service provides tailored care and educational support to over 50 individuals, all with a shared love of learning and personal development.

As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in helping these young people develop life skills, boost their confidence, and gain essential employability skills. This is a full-time, permanent position operating Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, needed year-round to provide consistent support to learners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting learners with life skills development.
• Assisting with homework, study, and educational activities.
• Promoting independence and encouraging learners to reach their full potential.
• Supporting learners with personal care needs.
• Managing and supporting individuals with complex needs.
• Liaising with families and external agencies to ensure holistic care and support.
