Description:

Aviva is seeking an Underwriter to join the Regional Financial Lines team, focusing on Financial Institutions, Directors and Officers Liability, and Commercial Crime insurance. This role is ideal for candidates with strong communication and people skills, capable of negotiating with key broker partners and meeting large clients to develop Aviva’s Financial Lines offering across the UK Regional network.

Key Responsibilities:

• Underwrite renewals and new business in line with Global Corporate and Specialty (GCS) and Mid-Market strategies.

• Maintain and grow relationships with internal stakeholders, brokers, agents, and clients to drive business development.

• Confidently communicate with collaborators internally and externally to meet business objectives.

• Manage time effectively and maintain strong organisational skills to meet underwriting targets.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Competent in underwriting Financial Institutions, Commercial Directors and Officers liability, and Commercial Crime insurance.

• Experience with Cyber, Pension Trustees Liability, and/or commercial Professional Indemnity is advantageous.

• Strong organisational, time management, and business awareness skills.

• Ability to develop positive relationships and drive business growth.
