Vets for Pets in Stratford-Upon-Avon is currently seeking a part-time Veterinary Surgeon to join their well-established and client-loved practice. Located in the scenic and historically rich town of Stratford-Upon-Avon, famous as the birthplace of William Shakespeare, the clinic benefits from being embedded in the heart of Warwickshire’s tranquil countryside while also enjoying proximity to a loyal and diverse client base.

The practice is situated within a modern Pets at Home concept store and is poised for a rebrand that reflects its evolution and commitment to excellence in pet care. The facility is well-equipped with high-end medical and surgical tools to enable quality diagnosis and treatment across a varied caseload.

What You’ll Do:

• Deliver high-standard medical and surgical care for a wide range of patient needs

• Handle routine consultations and surgeries independently

• Participate in a 1 in 4 weekend rota

• Occasionally manage sole charge duties with clinical confidence

• Contribute to maintaining a high reputation for clinical excellence and pet-first service

• Support team dynamics and be involved in the strategic direction of the practice

• Option to pursue post-graduate training or certificate qualifications, fully supported by the practice

Key Requirements:

• Veterinary degree with appropriate registration to practice in the UK

• Good all-round clinical knowledge in both medicine and surgery

• Prior experience in emergency surgeries is advantageous

• Confident communicator with team spirit and customer care focus

• Ability to work independently and handle responsibility when required

Working Hours:

• Part-time: 30 hours per week

• Weekends: 1 in 4 rotation

• Out-of-Hours: No OOH responsibilities
