As an Anaplan Model Builder, you will play a critical role in enhancing and transforming Monzo’s financial planning models. Working within the Anaplan Center of Excellence (CoE), you will collaborate closely with Finance Business Partners, FP&A teams, and senior leadership to ensure financial models are accurate, scalable, and aligned with evolving business requirements.

In this role, you will be responsible for building and implementing new Anaplan models following CoE best practices, converting and optimizing existing models, ensuring data integrity, and supporting forecasting processes. You will also provide training and guidance to business end-users to ensure smooth adoption and long-term success of the models.

The position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. While banking or financial services experience is beneficial, it is not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in building and implementing new Anaplan models, aligned with CoE best practices.

• Enhance and convert existing financial models to improve accuracy and efficiency.

• Collaborate with FP&A teams and Finance Business Partners to understand requirements and deliver tailored solutions.

• Maintain and update models to reflect business changes and forecasting needs.

• Troubleshoot and optimize models in collaboration with the CoE Lead / Solutions Architect.

• Provide training and support to business end-users to ensure effective model adoption.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in financial modelling, FP&A, or related areas.

• Hands-on experience with building and maintaining Anaplan models.

• Anaplan Level 2 Model Builder certification (or equivalent).

• Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities effectively.

• Banking or financial services background is advantageous but not essential.
