Business Development Director

Description:

Aether Financial Services (AFS) is seeking a Business Development Director for their Agency Private Debt activity to accelerate growth in the UK. Reporting directly to the General Management, the role will involve familiarizing with Aether FS's services and formulating a development strategy for the private debt agency market. This includes creating marketing materials, leading development actions, and establishing connections with both existing customers and new targets in the UK and Continental Europe. You will work closely with other Business Unit Directors to share information and maximize synergies.

The role requires a highly motivated and entrepreneurial individual with a strong understanding of the UK Private Debt markets, including technical, regulatory, and legal aspects. Additionally, the position demands operational management of the development process and a proactive approach to business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and formalize a growth strategy for the UK Private Debt Agency market.

• Create marketing and communication materials, such as blogs, articles, webinars, and events.

• Take operational control of business development efforts, including customer follow-up and proposals.

• Coordinate with other Business Unit Directors to enhance information sharing and identify development opportunities.

• Monitor market trends and regulatory developments impacting the business in the UK and Europe.

• Provide regular progress reports to General Management on development actions and objectives.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• 8 to 10 years' experience in Agency Private Debt Business Development, with a deep understanding of the UK Private Debt market.

• Strong technical knowledge of regulatory, legal, and operational aspects of private debt.

• Entrepreneurial mindset, highly motivated, and able to operate independently.

• Fluent in English; additional European languages (German, Dutch, or Spanish) are a plus.

• Strong interpersonal skills, team-oriented, and customer-focused.

• Proficient in Office 360.
