Chief Operating Officer

Description:

Zensora, Europe's leading online retailer of curated luxury products from Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, and Taiwan, is seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to drive the operational growth and efficiency of our Asia-Europe eCommerce business. As COO, you'll design and optimise operational workflows across various functions, partner with the leadership team to implement the company’s strategy, and ensure the smooth running of sourcing, logistics, warehousing, and fulfilment operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and optimise operational workflows across sourcing, logistics, warehousing, and fulfilment.

• Partner with the CEO and leadership team to shape and execute the company’s growth strategy.

• Oversee vendor and supplier relationships, negotiating contracts and ensuring quality standards.

• Lead performance-driven teams, setting KPIs, monitoring metrics, and driving continuous improvement.

• Manage budgets, forecasting, and resource allocation to support profitability and cash flow.

• Collaborate with Technology, Marketing, and Customer Experience to align operational capabilities with product launches and promotional campaigns.

• Identify risks and opportunities in the supply chain, compliance, and customer service, and proactively implement solutions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Sixth-form graduate in Business, Economics, Law, or Psychology.

• Strong leadership potential and analytical mindset.

• Experience overseeing operational or logistics processes in an e-commerce or retail business.

• Passion for e-commerce, cross-border trade, or international supply chains.

• Comfortable working in a flexible, fast-paced start-up environment.

• Must be located within a commutable distance to the London Area, United Kingdom.

Preferred Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Operations, or a related field.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to collaborate across functions.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Adaptable and comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving organisational environment.

• 3+ years of experience in operational or logistics management.
