Credit Controller

We are recruiting for a Credit Controller to join our market-leading client on a 12-month fixed-term contract. Our client, a leading tax, accounting, and advisory firm, is committed to building long-lasting relationships. Reporting into the Credit Manager, you will join a growing finance team in a highly sought-after industry. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Credit Controller to step into the Financial Services world.

As a Credit Controller, you will be responsible for managing cash collections and aged debt, building strong client relationships, and contributing to the smooth operation of the finance team.

Main Responsibilities & Requirements:

• Manage a ledger of 600 live accounts.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of Credit Control experience.
• Reconciliation and management of the credit process up to legal.
• Investigative approach when dealing with complex queries.
• Posting payments and client reconciliation.
• Reporting to the Credit Manager.
• Manage internal and external stakeholder relationships.
• Intermediate Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivots).

What We're Looking For:

• Experience in credit control, ideally within a corporate or professional services setting.
• Previous experience in an accountancy firm is ideal, but not essential.
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• CICM qualification (preferred but not essential).
• A proactive and detail-oriented approach.
