Description:
As a Data Administrator you will be an integral part of a multi-disciplinary team, within an under 18 substance use service across Sheffield. Our approach is centered around a resilience and strengths-based model of support that incorporates some core principles around prevention and earlier intervention, harm reduction and person-centered support. You will support the frontline team through the effective use of data and through office support to help the smooth running of the service to achieve positive outcomes.
Alongside this, the post holder with help transform our social media presence to ensure the service increases its appeal amongst children/young people and identifies new and innovative ways to engage with people/communities online.

- Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.
About the Role
- Ensure effective processing of correspondence/ data entry as required.
- To minute take at partnership meetings, team meetings and other meetings as required. Maintain and update information databases as required, in a timely and accurate manner.
- Lead on database development and management within the service, ensuring that they meet user and service requirements.
- Support the day to day running of the office building - managing visitors, answering phones and coordinating service rotas.
- To manage and maintain office building and lead on facilities liaison with central CGL team and contractors.
- Act as building health and safety lead (alongside management) - ensuring all national CGL policies and procedures are implemented and maintained.
- Prepare timely and accurate statistical data and reports for the management team as required.
- To input, check and validate data recorded on local and national information databases (PHE, NDTMS and CRIIS) on a regular basis to ensure it meets agreed quality and performance standards.
- Alongside this, the post holder with help transform our social media presence to ensure the service increases its appeal amongst children/young people and identifies new and innovative ways to engage with people/communities online.
- Support to create and share content for social media platforms to increase engagement and awareness
- To increase visibility and accessibility of the service amongst children, young people, families, and partners with the aim of increasing referrals into service for specialist support.
About You
- Knowledge and experience of general office procedure and administrative duties
- IT literacy including proficiency in data collection systems (eg. NDTMS, Public health
- Expertise in working with WORD, EXCEL, and ACCESS IT packages
- Experience of maintaining data bases and other data management systems
- Show a capacity to work alone and the ability to keep calm under pressure
- Employ an empathetic and non-judgmental attitude towards service users
