We're recruiting – Part-Time Employability Tutors (Forth Valley)

ACTS Scotland CIC is looking for enthusiastic, responsible and reliable individuals to join our team as Part-Time Employability Tutors.

This could be a particularly good opportunity for university students who want to gain meaningful paid experience alongside their studies and build valuable experience for their CV.

You don't need to be an experienced tutor.

Successful applicants will initially work alongside experienced ACTS tutors, learning how we engage and support young people and gradually becoming more involved in programme delivery.

As your confidence and experience develop, there will be opportunities to take responsibility for activities and eventually progress towards independently delivering sessions.

We're looking for people who are:

• Reliable, responsible and professional

• Good communicators who can relate to young people

• Friendly, patient and encouraging

• Creative and adaptable

• Comfortable working as part of a team

• Willing to learn and develop

Experience of coaching, mentoring, youth work, volunteering, teaching or working with young people would be useful, but it isn't essential. For us, attitude, maturity and potential are just as important as previous experience.

ACTS delivers practical employability programmes supporting young people to build confidence, develop skills and progress towards education, training and employment.
