Description:

A leading international legal and financial services provider is looking for a skilled Funds Lawyer to join their high-performing Funds & Investment Management team in London. This position offers an exceptional opportunity to work on some of the most sophisticated investment fund matters with a blue-chip client base, including top-tier European fund managers and their onshore counsel.

You will play a key role in advising clients on the full lifecycle of Cayman Islands investment vehicles, including hedge funds, hybrid funds, and private equity structures. The role provides high-level client exposure, business development opportunities, and long-term career progression within a supportive and collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide legal advice on fund formation, structuring, regulatory compliance, ongoing maintenance, and termination of Cayman Islands investment vehicles.

• Collaborate with leading fund managers, sponsors, and legal advisers on various alternative investment strategies.

• Participate in business development initiatives and represent the firm in client-facing and market-facing opportunities.

• Assist with complex cross-border transactions in collaboration with global colleagues.

Candidate Requirements:

• 1–4 years’ post-qualification experience (PQE) in investment funds, corporate law, or financial regulation.

• Previous experience in a top-tier law firm or a highly regarded funds practice.

• Strong academic credentials with excellent drafting and communication skills.

• Commercial mindset with a collaborative approach and ability to excel in an international, fast-paced setting.
